All of these are animals we spotted while visiting Yellowstone over a three day period.
Fuzzy cow...one of a bazillion (yes, it is a word....look it up!)
Elk (aka a big deer)
Black Bear (yes, it is...they come in shades of brown, blonde, golden and black). There are two types of bear in this area: Black Bear and Grizzly Bear (which can also be blonde, brown or black). Grizzlies sometimes are called brown bears. Grizzlies can be identified by their shoulder hump and longer snout. Black bears have more of a Roman profile to their noses..it gradually slopes from the forehead to the tip of the nose.
