Seattle to San Francisco.

Seattle to San Francisco

June 9, 2016-  Chihuly Glass Museum & Gardens,  Bainbridge Island via 30 min ferry ride.

Dale Chihuly is most notable in Seattle as a Glass-Artist.  Born in Tacoma, Washington, September 20, 1941.

The Chihuly Garden and Glass museum is an exhibit in which he showcases his studio glass.  The exhibit opened, May 21, 2012 at the Seattle Center.   There are three components to the exhibit:  the Garden, the Glasshouse with a 100 foot long sculpture (one of Chihuly's largest suspended sculptures) and the Interior Exhibits. There is also a 90 seat cafe with additional outdoor dining and a 50 seat theater and lecture space.
