Animal "bucket list"

Are any of these animals on your "most wanted" list?

Yellow-headed black bird
Canada Geese
Stork
Swan
Gray Jay
Magpie
Clark's Nutcracker
Osprey
Eagle
Raven
Bison
Elk
Coyote
Chipmunks (and yes, they do sing...look it up!)\
Bison (Buffalo)
Yellow Bellied Marmot
Canyon mouse
Canyon Ground Squirrel
Uinta Squirrel (hibernates 9 months of the year and resembles priarie dogs in appearance and habitat)
Bull-snake
Mountain Blue Birds
Black Bear

All of these are animals we spotted while visiting Yellowstone over a three day period.

Elk (aka a big deer)















Black Bear (yes, it is...they come in shades of brown, blonde, golden and black).  There are two types of bear in this area: Black Bear and Grizzly Bear (which can also be blonde, brown or black). Grizzlies sometimes are called brown bears.  Grizzlies can be identified by their shoulder hump and longer snout.  Black bears have more of a Roman profile to their noses..it gradually slopes from the forehead to the tip of the nose.
