Large windmills such as these are becoming more and more common throughout our country.  Obviously we are getting better at using renewable resources slowly but surely.

It's alive!!! Cryptobiotic soil is a mix of bacteria, fungi, and algae (a protist)...it is important for plant growth in the desert.  One footstep could wipe out many, many years of important growth.
