The decision was easy this time. We weren't at the fork in the road trying to decide which way to go this year. The choice had been made last year when we decided to go East and do the "United States History" tour. This year we would go West. The West is more about scenery, biology and geology. Yes, the West also has its own rich and interesting history, I acknowledge this fact. Its history isn't the formation of a nation. Its history is mostly geology.
Our Bread Crumb trail starts on 1488 West to 290. On to West 21 through Bastrop.
Back to 290 and on to I10.
